Requesting a casting kit — your first step.

If together, the veterinarian and owner are committed to pursuing an orthotic brace that will improve the patient's quality of life, we are ready help. TO REQUEST CASTING KIT please fill out the form to the left. Making a cast is the first step in ordering a custom orthotic brace for your dog.

The kit includes:

A roll of 2" casting tape
Cotton Stockinette (long enough to cover the leg)
A buffer strip (allowing safe removal of the cast)
A hook knife for cutting the cast free of the leg
A tape measure for taking required measurements (stifle brace only)
Casting instructions and "tips" sheet (teaching CD included)
Required medical form and "candid" contract form

We ship all casting kits through USPS Priority Mail.
*Casting Kits from Ace Ortho Solutions are $20 and shipping is FREE inside the United States. An invoice for the brace is enclosed in the kit when it is shipped to the Veterinarian and/or PT. There is a $20 fee for the casting kit which is credited towards the final purchase price of the brace. If you are outside the U.S. shipping charges will be added to the invoice as well.
