Did you have any hesitations when first introduced to our braces?
We were amazed at the videos. Our apprehension was first just wondering if it would work for Chase. We didn’t want surgery for him, not knowing if he would re-injure his leg after healing. He’s a very athletic boy. He would chase after balls, sticks, anything until we were exhausted. He’s a great swimmer and never tires of the water. It really hurt seeing him hobbling, hopping, in pain and just feeling miserable. His eyes were so sad.
How did it go when your dog started wearing the brace?
IT’S WORKING! We were excited to get his brace. After putting the brace on him, we could actually see him putting weight on his paw. He had been walking on his tiptoes, putting a lot of his weight on his front paws.
What is the best feature of the brace?
It’s easy to put on.
What do you think are three other benefits of this brace?
1) Light weight.
2) Hard plastic but the hinge is unique. not quite a hinge but the clear pieces allow him to move and bend his leg to lay down.(still getting use to that).
3) Great fit.
Would you recommend our brace to one of your fellow dog owners?
DEFINITELY
Do you have any more comments?
When we ask Chase “Are you ready for your brace?” his tail wags. His eyes are playful again. He stands pretty still for us to put it on him. He’s actually happy again. (you will understand if your dog is family). His eyes light up. He perks up wanting to play. He can go down the outside steps like before.
I doubt that he will ever be exactly as before he hurt his stifle. But I do know that with his brace he’s going to try. We eventually hope that Chase won’t always have to wear it. But if he seems weak in that leg again, we’ll just put his brace back on. Thank you so much for your wonderful product.

Any hesitation about bracing? No, we were so excited — however, it took alot of phone calls to find a vet to help us with the brace, some vets were against it. Surgery was $2,000-3,000 and we didn’t have the money.
When he first started wearing the new stifle brace... It was amazing, Duke was able to play and run and it didn’t take him long to realize that he could put weight on his leg for the first time in months.
Best feature of this brace? It is fitted to his leg, he is a very large doberman, 120-130 lbs, it has been a blessing to Duke and has given him back his zest for life, he can play with his brother and have fun!!
Other benefits? 1) It gives Duke the support he really needs, 2) he waits for us to put it on him, so he knows it works too, 3) He can actually walk and run with the brace and he can now walk and run without it, we thought we would have to put him down.
Would you recommend bracing? Yes, it breaks my heart to think that without the brace Duke would not be alive for us to love and he is such a happy boys and loves everyone.
One last thought... The brace has changed Duke’s life for the better and he is happy and healthy...and Max can play with his brother again and we are so proud of Duke for how well he has done with his disability, it doesn’t seem to affect him hardly at all, I went from crying all the time to being a happy Mom to this loving beautiful boy!!
